Kaduna APC aspirant, Sha’aban rejects Senatorial election

Hon Sani Sha’aban, one of the leading Senatorial aspirants in the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC), primary election in Kaduna State, has rejected the outcome of the Senatorial primary.

He warned that if APC continued with its policy, it may lead to self destruction.

Sha’aban, who described as a charade, the Senatorial primary conducted in the State, stated that
even the delegates’ congress was not held.

He briefed newsmen on the outcome of the party in the State, noting that it was shameful that people who do not understand the word APC were recruited as delegates, given huge amount of cash and asked to vote for certain politicians.

He expressed pain at a situation whereby many aspirants were disqualified from contesting, while his supporters were barred from the venue where the primary was held.

According to him, the way the said primary was conducted was unacceptable and stands condemned.

According to him, the APC is not the only political party in the State and that other political parties were carefully monitoring the wranglings in the party and would take advantage of it to poach on aggrieved candidates.

Sha’aban urged all stakeholders in the State to rise up against the injustice perpetuated by a few individuals in the party in order to prevent a looming disaster that would befall the party
