Transfer: Cesc Fabregas’ new club revealed

Cesc Fabregas is set to sign for Italian second division side, Como, as a free agent.

The Spanish midfielder is without a club since his contract with Monaco expired this summer.

The 35-year-old will now put pen to paper on a two-year deal with Como until June 2024.

This was confirmed by football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, on Friday.

Romano tweeted: “Cesc Fabregas is set to join Italian second division team Como on a free transfer!

“Full agreement in place on a free deal, final details to be sorted out soon.

“Contract will be valid until June 2024.”

Fabregas has also played for top European clubs like Arsenal, Barcelona and Chelsea in his career.
